The MF Collection is an experiment that draws inspiration from the medical and social sciences, interlaced with themes of love to form wearable expressions of this unique fusion of ideas.
Meghan Farrell was raised in a predominately scientific household, where both parents valued their careers as professionals in the medical field. Additionally, they also highly valued all art forms—making it inevitable that a young child would be molded and inspired by these ideas.
Pursuing her passion for the arts, she received a BLA at Sarah Lawrence College, focusing on theatre and psychology. Meghan discovered her love for fashion and art when she received an internship at Teen Vogue magazine where she worked alongside the accessories editor.

After graduation, she began working for Opening Ceremony as an assistant manager, and eventually joined the team as an assistant buyer. In 2009, she enrolled in several classes at FIT for Jewelry Design to feed her passion for creativity.
Friends and professors began to take notice of her designs, which all seemed to revert back to her scientific upbringing. In the Fall of 2010, Meghan launched a small neurology and psychology themed capsule collection of rings and necklaces. Since then, MF has grown to include collections with themes of cardiology and astronomy.
She currently resides in Tribeca, where she works on her designs. Meghan has also returned to studying acting at the William Esper Studio, and djays from time to time.
All pieces of the MF Collection are handmade and produced in New York City. The Collection currently is sold at her favorite stores: Opening Ceremony in New York, and at Tenoversix in Los Angeles.
